Privacy Policy

1. General

We at Hyplet Ltd.("Hyplet") Hyplet.com ("Site") respect your privacy and take the issue of Internet privacy very seriously and are committed to safeguard your privacy online as our user. Please read the following policy to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make full use of the Site and any services or software (together: the “Services”). The intent of this Privacy Policy is to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your information for the purpose of operating and using of the Site and Services. This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time so please check it regularly. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.

The Site and any Services provided herein are NOT FOR USE BY CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE, nor may they be used to solicit or collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Site nor should you sign up for the Services offered by Hyplet.

In general, you can browse the Site and use our Services without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. If you choose to use our Site or Services you will be required to provide certain personal information. In principle, Hyplet shall not sell, exchange, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, unless required by law, or in accordance with your instructions. Hyplet also does not send spam, maintain spam mailing lists, or support the activities of spammers

2. Information that We Collect

Registration Data. The only personal information we collect when you register for use of the Site and Services is your email address, password, a security question and answer, and country.

Service-related Information. When using our Site and Services, you can create Hyplet ID Cards and Flyers, which generally include information about yourself. Content provided by you during the creation of Hyplet ID Cards and Flyers or use of the other Services on the Site shall either be classified as "private" or "public" according to your choice. Information classified as "private" means information that can be accessed only by you or any other third party to whom you gave explicit permission. Information classified as "public" means information that can be accessed and/or edited or published by other users of the Site. With respect to each Service provided by Hyplet, Hyplet shall, by way of default, classify the information provided by you either as "private" or "public". You shall have the option, with respect to each and every Service, to change the default option selected by Hyplet. Furthermore, you may change the classification of any information at any time.

Hyplet shall keep a copy of the registered data information and the information provided by you and shall use such information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy. Subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy, Hyplet shall not make commercial use of such information or provide such information to third parties without your permission, unless you have defined such information as "public" information.

3. Use of Information

We may use your personal information to facilitate the Services you request. We use your personal information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Site and Services:

  • To better understand on an aggregated basis how our products are used, gauge traffic patterns and determine what types of content and services are most popular with users of our products and services;
  • For license reporting and assessment of service levels;
  • To verify access rights to content, services or software;
  • To provide you with information about Hyplet products, services, news and events through the Site or email;
  • To provide you with personalized content programming, instructions and services;
  • To resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems;
  • To detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; and
  • To enforce our Terms of Use.

You agree that we may use your personal information to contact you via email. You may elect not to receive such information from us, by informing us of your election.

We may at any time use or share aggregated and anonymous demographic information or statistical information regarding users in general, but that will not include any of your personal information without your consent.

4. Our Disclosure of Your Information

As a matter of policy, we do not deliver any of your personal information to third parties without your consent, with the following exemptions:

  • We may disclose personal information, in cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms of Use or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property and/or intellectual property, other users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
  • We may also release personal information when we believe, in our good judgment, that such release is reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations and enforce any applicable law. We will notify you of such actions where reasonable and permitted by law.

5. Links to other Web Sites

When you click on links and/or banners on our Site or Services that take you to third-party Web sites, you will be subject to the third parties' privacy policies. While we support the protection of privacy on the Internet, we can not be responsible for the actions of any third-party Web sites. We encourage you to read the posted privacy statement of any and every site you visit, whether you enter it through a link on our Site or Services, or browsing on your own.

6. Rights to Your Information

You have the right to access, correct, update, and/or delete any information provided by you, at any time. Changes to your information are typically executed immediately. Control of your password. You are responsible for all actions taken with your user ID and password. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your password to any third parties. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.

7. Cookies

In order to improve the services and the Site, we may use “cookies” when you are logged into the Site or Services. A cookie is a piece of data that is transferred to your browser by a Web server and can only be understood by the server that gave it to you. It functions as your computer’s identification token and enables us to personalize your experience when you are signed in to the Site. The cookie also contains your email address so that we can make it easier for you to sign in. While Hyplet uses cookies to enable you to use the Services and the Site, and our Web servers automatically log the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of your computer, Hyplet does not use this information to identify you personally but only to provide you with the features of the Services.

8. Automatic Tracking

We automatically track certain information based on your behavior on the Site or Services. We do this in order to perform internal search on our users' trends, demographics, interests, and other behavior to better understand, protect and serve you. We receive and collect the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access our Site; and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our site. All such information is subject to our Privacy Policy

9. Security

We use procedural and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss or theft as well as unauthorized access and disclosure to protect your privacy, including encryption, "firewalls" and secure socket layers. We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by users inside and outside Hyplet. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet, therefore, we can not ensure, and you should not expect, that none of your personal information will ever be disclosed.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

If we change the Privacy Policy, we will post the new Privacy Policy on the Site with a link from the Site’s homepage, so that you will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances - if any - we disclose it.

We will use the information provided by you, in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected. If, however, we plan to use such information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you through a notice on our Site and any other appropriate methods, and you will have a choice to either continue using the Service or deleting the information you have provided.
